  • may be used for various grinding operations

  •  two kinds of combinations are distinguished:

    • the ceramic one and

    • the bakelit one

  • various hardnesses may be achieved with application of different kinds of grains and sizes of grains

  • From stock we deliver:

    • Ø 150 mm x 20 mm wide

    • Ø 165 mm x 20 mm wide

    • Ø 300 mm x 25 mm wide

    • in each case of ceramic combination (a mixture of medium grains  150/180)

  • for whetting, deburring and sharpening knives and scissors

  • rubber bond, slightly soft

  • only available:

    • Ø 150 mm x 20 mm wide  abrasive: silicon carbide

    • grit 400, grade BE16 = hard = max. 32 m/s (4000 revolutions)

    Not suitable for sharp edges, large burrs or high stock removal.

  
   
    Satin finishing wheel


 

 

  • consist of abrasive fleece on a nylon base in which grit of  aluminiumoxyde or siliciumcarbide (two different kinds of grinding  grit) is embedded by the use of special bonded material

  •  are used to achieve decorated surfaces (stroke pattern finish or satin  finish)

  • or for whetting, polishing, cleaning and smoothing

  • From stock we deliver:

    • Ø 150 mm x 30 mm wide

    • Ø 300 mm x 50 mm wide

    • in each case with grit of aluminiumoxyde (dark red), grade of fineness 006 (fine), grade of hardness H7 = hard

    Flap wheel

 
  • are made of high-quality cloth
  • are radially assembled around a special plastic hub
  • are mainly used with workpieces requiring a specific flexibility which is hardly to achieve with grinding belts running on contact wheels
  • are mainly not used because of their abrasive character, but for fine surface treatment, for smoothing and pre-polishing

    Self-expanding rubber wheel


 

 
  • finds its application mainly in the field of belt-grinding in areas where belt-grinding machines, due to size or other problems, are not applicable
  • due to the centrifugal force during normal workspeed
    • the single segments of the cushion are expanding which enlarges the diameter of the tool
  • without any effect to the true running of the tool the grinding belt is for this reason definitely kept in position
  • From stock we deliver:
    • Ø 150 mm x 50 mm wide
    • Ø 300 mm x 50 mm wide
    • in each case of oil resistant rubber-cushion (60 Shore) with the suitable abrasive belts of various kinds of grit
